LeSEE Autonomous Electric Vehicle Concept; Next-Generation Smartphones, SuperTV, and VR
China through its nation-based companies is realizing its tech vision by systematically copying what happens in U.S.
This week LeEco, a global technology company, made a series of
major announcements at its cross-category product launch at the LeSports Center
in Beijing.
Mobility
Mr. Jia and LeSEE co-founder
Lei Ding revealed the LeEco’s EV concept, featuring fully autonomous
capabilities, including machine learning of facial, emotion, system, and path
recognition. LeEco is partnering with Faraday Future to fund a world-class
autonomous driving research center in Silicon Valley.
Smartphones
LeEco introduced its second
generation of Superphones. In addition to multiple design and feature upgrades,
the new smartphones feature the USB Type-C audio with LeEco’s Continual Digital
Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology with the goal to deliver true fidelity audio
and lossless music experience.
TV and VR
Experience
LeEco’s fourth-generation
SuperTV series, the X4, powered by the Mstar 6A938 chip, the new TV boasts 3+
HDR, distance voice recognition and smart voice, and also features MEMC dynamic
image compensation technology.
The
company also revealed its latest VR helmet, the LeVR COOL1, which will use the Le Max2 2K
display to minimize the screen-door effect and optimize the VR experience.
